Since my beginning, women have always played a central role in my life. I grew up the middle of three sisters and attended the all-female Smith College, from which I received my BA. In 2001, I graduated with my Physician Assistant/Master’s in Medical Science from Emory University in Atlanta. I have practiced exclusively in women’s health, working in general obstetrics and gynecology in Georgia and Oregon, and most recently in gynecologic oncology in Seattle. In addition to seeing patients in the office setting, I also frequently first assist the physicians with open, robotic and laparoscopic surgical procedures. Since 2001, I have worked Mondays at MWH and am excited to be expanding my role here to four days a week.
I have a great interest in:
- Vulvar/vaginal disorders
- Sexual health
- Patients with personal or family history of cancer
- Post-operative care
- Birth control and family planning
- Routine obstetrical care
When I am not in the clinic or the OR, I can be found gardening in my P-patch, cooking in my kitchen, or swimming with my daughter and husband.
